A separation and consulting agreement is an official document which is entered between an individual and his/her employer organization when the individual is leaving the organization. The agreement states details like the date of joining of the individual and the position in which he was working along other few terms and conditions mutually agreed upon by both the parties.

The employee had entered into an employment agreement with the employer as on 10th November 2005 and was working in the position of a Managing Director. The employer is seeking for a new Managing Director and wants to separate the employee from the same position from 25th November 2011.
The terms and conditions that both the parties need to adhere to are as follows:
The employee agrees to resign voluntarily from the position of Managing Director and surrender any kind of title that he may hold with the employer effective on termination date of 25th November 2011.
Before the termination date, the employer has to settle any outstanding salaries, claims or bonus of the employee.
In case the employee is holding any property of the employer, he has to return it before the termination date.
